The pace of consumer price increases decelerated in December in Germany
The annual rate of rise in consumer prices decelerated further in December in Germany, according to the final data of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) published on Wednesday.
In December, consumer prices increased by 1.7 percent year-on-year, while in November they rose by 2.3 percent. Prices increased by 0.1 percent compared to the previous month.
Annual consumer inflation was 2.3 percent in November and monthly was 0.1 percent. (MTI)
