The pace of consumer price increases in the euro area slowed further in January
In January, the pace of consumer price increases in the euro area slowed further, moving away from the European Central Bank’s 2 percent target.
According to preliminary data released by the European Union’s Statistical Office (Eurostat) on Friday, consumer prices increased by 1.4 percent in January, in line with the analyst expectations. Less value (1.2 percent) was last measured last April. (MTI)
