The head of the ministry drew attention to the fact that agriculture plays a prominent role in the two countries. In addition, cooperations are being formed between our economies that are extremely important. In the field of seed breeding and cultivation, there is serious cooperation between Kazakh and Hungarian enterprises. He explained that Hungarian plant genetics performs excellently, which is why we want to raise cooperation to a higher level in this area. Thanks to a Hungarian investor, a modern seed processing plant can be built in order to help plant cultivation. This development is fully supported by the Hungarian government. This process can also be a great opportunity for domestic breeders to leapfrog in Central Asia. This intention is in line with the Kazakh position to produce corn on one million hectares, the minister added.
István Nagy also spoke about the fact that a serious partnership can develop in connection with apple cultivation, which we intend to raise to a higher level
There are also additional opportunities between our countries in the fields of education and science. By exchanging students and researchers, we can further improve our relations. We are happy to present our domestic experience and programs to Kazakhstan. The basis of a safe food supply is to have suitable specialists, the minister added.
