The performance of consumer markets in the EU continued to improve
The performance of consumer markets in the European Union continued to improve, however, there are still serious differences between the individual Member States – according to the European Commission’s report published on Monday.
According to the Consumer Markets’ Scoreboard, a significantly higher improvement occured in the so-called service markets than on the commodity markets. The greatest progress occurred in the area of financial services. Consumers are more confident in banks, private pension funds and investment funds. (MTI, Bajnok Artúr)
