Consumer sentiment has continued to improve in the United States
With higher-than-expected monthly growth, the University of Michigan’s consumer sentiment index peaked in April.
According to a report published on the institution’s website, the final value of the mood index rose to 88.3 points in April, exceeding the preliminary value of 86.5 points and analysts’ expectations of 87.4 points. The index stood at 84.9 points in March of the previous month. (MTI)
