Consumer sentiment improved further in the United States
Consumer sentiment is exactly in line with the expectations of the analysts in December, in the United States: the monthly sentiment index of the University of Michigan was 74.5 points, the highest since June.
Within the overall indicator, the assessing of the current situation sub-index rose to 85.3 points from the 82.1 points of November, while the six-month expectations, sub-index improved to 67.5 points, from the 64.8 points of the previous month. U.S. consumers in a one-five-year monthly sentiment, expect the same magnitude inflation rate as in November: 3.0 percent for one year and 2.8 percent for five years – reports ProfitLine.hu.
