Annual inflation in the Czech Republic accelerated to 9.9 percent in January from 6.6 percent in December, the Czech Statistical Office said in Prague.

Inflation Accelerates to Nearly 10 Percent in January
This is the highest annual price increase since July 1998, when inflation was 10.4 percent, statisticians said. The rise in inflation has been steady in recent months, according to market experts as a result of the economic and trade situation caused by the measures caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
