The producer price of eggs dropped further

The figures of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) show that the number of hens has decreased in Hungary.

While the number of hens was 35 million on 1 June 2018 (776 thousand less than a year before), the stock of laying hens increased by 432 thousand to 11 million over a year – Világgazdaság Online wrote.

Egg production also increased. In the first five months of 482.6 million eggs were produced, nearly 20 percent more than a year before. (vg.hu)
