The Ministry of Agriculture will further strengthen conscious consumer behavior
Based on the positive experience of the labeling requirement introduced in the case of pork, the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) has extended the clear indication of the country of origin to new product ranges – Minister Nagy István explained in a statement issued by the Ministry on Wednesday.
According to the rules in force from 15 July, the country of origin must now be clearly and visibly indicated in the case of sheepmeat, goatmeat and poultrymeat, and Hungarian crops must be flagged in the case of vegetables and fruit sold in bulk. (MTI)
