Even in the difficult economic environment, the BioTechUSA group of companies remained on an upward trajectory, increasing its sales last year by almost 15 percent to HUF 90.49 billion, compared to the record high base of the year before.
Almost HUF 5 billion was spent on investments, including the construction of a four-storey, more modern and comfortable social block with a total useful area of more than 1,000 square meters in Szadan, the commissioning of its automated warehouse worth nearly one billion HUF, the opening of 45 new stores across Europe and the complete renovation of its old office building in Óbuda. too. Despite the turbulent environment, the company’s financial situation continued to improve in 2023, after its EBITDA increased by more than 3.5 percent to HUF 10.47 billion.
Five brands, but one common path characterizes the BioTechUSA group of companies with 1,800 employees and 4,500 partners, which is now present in 103 countries with 49 webshops and 307 stores. In addition to the BioTechUSA brand, the company’s part – which motivates ordinary people to achieve their individual goals, be it body shaping, endurance sports, or a permanent lifestyle change; the brand dedicated to gym training, Scitec Nutrition; Hungary’s more than 20-year-old dietary supplement online store, Builder; as well as the ShakerStore, a business that produces unique mixing bottles, and VitaminShop, which distributes vitamin preparations.
