Meat will become more expensive

The price of meat is increasing for a while, but a further price increase is expected, due to this year's drought – Menczel Lászlóné, secretary of the Livestock and Meat Marketing Board told InfoRádió. Menczel Lászlóné added that a kilogram of pork will cost more than 1,800 HUF at the end of the year.

The price of meat became more expensive, due to the rising feed costs. Menczel Lászlóné emphasized that the price increase has already begun, because last year’s cheaper feed ran out of stock in many places. The cost of livestock production increased by 20-25 percent. (inforadio.hu)
