The proportion of Slovakian food products has decreased further in the stores in Slovakia. Now the ratio is only 44 percent – the survey of the Slovak Chamber of Food Industry (PKS) states.
According to the survey, the share of the domestic food products in Slovakian stores this year reached a record low level. Compared to last year's datas the decline is 2 percentage points.
According to the datas of PKS, the share of domestic food products in Slovakia, fell below 50 percent two years ago for the first time. The decrease is a long-term phenomenon, and seems to be a long term trend. (MTI, Starovic Tibor)
