Retail sales increased in Romania
In November, the volume of retail sales grew by 11.4 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year – the Romanian National Statistical Institute announced on Monday.
The growth was largely driven by fuel sales, which increased by almost 14 percent, while non-food sales accelerated by 12 percent, and sales of food, beverages and tobacco by 9.2 percent.
Compared to October, the volume of retail sales increased by 2.4 percent. (MTI)
