Törökszentmiklósi Mezőgazdasági Zrt.: the authority found GMO-contaminated seeds in one case
The Törökszentmiklósi Mezőgazdasági Zrt. told MTI that the authority found GMO-contaminated seeds in one case among the 11 maize items, during the checks cdarried out in February.
As advised, the concerned 34 tons of seeds were owned by a producer, and only taken to the plant of the TM Zrt. for processing and packaging.
The TM Zrt. did not take part in the production of these seeds. After processing and packaging, the producers transported the seeds away.
During the operation of the TM Zrt.’s plant GMO contaminated seeds have not been found – the communication explains. (MTI)
