POS Media Europe is expanding into Turkey
As of February 2009 POS Media Turkey has entered into an exclusive partnership contract with the second biggest retail chain CarrefourSA.
POS Media Turkey was officially
established in August 2008 while the office started its full
operations in February 2009 residing at Baby Giz Plaza / Maslak in
Istanbul. The recently opened branch office of POS Media Europe in
Istanbul will be marketing and selling a wide range of in-store media
products in all 22 hypermarkets and 123 supermarkets of Carrefour.
Pilot projects are being prepared for implementation in March 2009.
The CarrefourSA contract, being the first one concluded in
Turkey, comes into addition of other exclusive partnership contracts
POS Media already operates, such as with Tesco, Ahold, Kaufland,
Real, Electro World, Metro and other chains in Europe.
POS Media
Turkey will primarily focus on Point Of Sale Media in supermarkets
and hypermarkets and afterwards it will expand into other segments.
For this purpose the company will use the know-how that has been
developed in other European branch offices in Central Europe and the
United Kingdom. All activities of POS Media Turkey will be taken
under the corporate brand of POS Media Europe and its visual
identity.
