Turkish-Hungarian Business Forum
Hungary’s export to Turkey expanded by 27 percent in 2013 and by the end of the year the turnover between the two countries represented a value of USD 2.5 billion. In addition to this, business deals were signed in the value of USD 110 million at various forums. Turkish president Abdullah Gül gave diplomatic weight to the last Turkish-Hungarian Business Forum, which took Place on 17 February 2014 in Budapest. Good relations with Turkey on the highest level open up new perspectives for Hungary in the Near East, while for Turkey it will be easier and faster to reach the markets of Western Europe via Hungary’s logistics facilities. Turkey would take part in Hungarian infrastructural development as well and at the same time help Hungary in entering third markets in the east. Hungary’s goal is to double our export to Turkey by 2015 and to make influx of Turkish working capital more intense.
