Horseradish fever in the Hajdúság
Horseradish fever broke out in the Hajdúság. The price of horseradish has rached unrealistical highs.
The reason of the high prices is that Polish merchants bought almost the whole export. The biggest producers, however, warn: it is risky to start growing horseradish, because this fall its price can be reduced to one-third of the current price. Experts also expects that the price of horseradish will return to the price level of the previous years, to about 200 HUF – reports MR1 – Kossuth Rádió.
