Törley: Another new international success

The 16th Sélections Mondiales Des Vins international wine competition was held in Quebec, Canada between the 26th and 31st of May this year.

The expert judges this year juried 1836 samples from 32 countries under strict regulations. A total of 554 medals (3 gold, large, 60 gold, 491 silver) were awarded. In the prestigious tournament, the Chapel Hill Pinot Grigio won a silver medal with its 2009 vintage wine.
This wine shows a fresh, spicy and vibrant character, that is typical for Pinot Grigio. This medium-bodied, harmonious wine can be drink as an aperitif, and can be recommended for light dishes, such as fish and Italian pastas.
