Törley: 9 medals in one competition!
All entries of Törley groups won medals at the 14th National Savings Bank Wine Competition (XIV. Országos Takarékszövetkezeti Borverseny).
The National Savings Bank Wine Competition was held or the 14th time between 3 and 4 April in Budapest. The jury included the best experts of the industry, renowned winemakers and internationally recognized experts. A total of 151 medals (1 large gold, 34 gold, 41 silver and 75 bronze) were handed over.
Törley’ds results:
Gold medalists: Hungaria Irsai Olivér Doux (2009 vintage), François President Pinot Noir Rosé Brut (2009 vintage) champagne and Chapel Hill Sparkling Chardonnay Brut champagne.
Silver medalists: Hungaria Grande Cuvée Brut champagne, and György-Villa Collection Villányi Cabernet Sauvignon wine.
Bronze medalists: György-Villa Collection Etyeki Sauvignon Blanc (2011 vintage), Pázmándi Juhfark (2011 vintage), the György-Villa Collection Pázmándi Syrah (2009 vintage), and the Szent István Korona Etyek-Budai Irsai Olivér (2011 vintage).
