Cocoa and sugar prices are increasing further
The white sugar’s price was on its historical peak, cocoa price was on its 30 years of record level on Wednesday afternoon, which is mainly due to the weakening dollar.
White sugar increased to 667.40 USD per tonne on the London LIFFE exchange.
Meanwhile, cocoa prices are on the highest level since June 1979, increased to 3480 USD per tonne in March terms, after increased by 115 USD compared to Wednesday at the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) New York’s subscription – reports MTI.
