Russians destroy tons of fruits and vegetables
The destruction of products covered by the Russian food embargo begun is in accordance with the recently signed Russian presidential decree.
Vladimir Putin signed the decree on the destruction of the embargoed products on 29 July.
The campaign starts on Thursday. For example, in Smolensk, more than 55 tons of nectarines and peaches and 6 tons of tomatoes were crushed with tractors. According to the official statement these products were came from Greece with fake documents. (MTI)
