A mass of Hungarian pigs are carried to Romania
At the eastern border of Hungary, Romanian purchases and deliveres a large mass of Hungarian pigs often on the back seats of Dacias, to get support after a few months of breeding and after localization.
Forgács Barna, President of the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture pointed out: The foreign demand for Hungarian is welcomed, but he was also informed by non-official news channels, that the animals are often carried out with the circumvention of animal health rules and tax regulations. While domestically, the price of a live pig is around 340-350 HUF per kilogram, Romanians pay 380 HUF for them – reports MTI-Eco, after the article of Hajdú-bihari Napló.
