Tokyo, a centre for gourmands
For the 11th year, the restaurant folks at Michelin, a tire company, have announced their picks for the best restaurants in Tokyo. The Japanese capital continues its reign as the city with the most Michelin stars — a distinction that should come as no surprise, given Michelin’s well-known tendency to favor Japanese and French cuisine in its starred selections. This year, Tokyo inches further ahead with 234 starred restaurants, up from 227 last year.
