The Hungarian pavilion of the Osaka World Exhibition was presented in Tokyo; The organizers are expecting more than 28 million visitors to the world exhibition, which will be held between April 13 and October 13, 2025, with the participation of around 161 countries and 9 international organizations, mainly from the East Asian region, which includes South Korea and China in addition to Japan, the Expo announced 2025 Magyarország Nonprofit Kft. on Monday with MTI.
It was highlighted in the announcement that the Osaka World Exhibition is also the largest tourist sending market in the world, so successful Hungarian participation can significantly increase inbound traffic from here. In addition to tourism, the Hungarian presence can also significantly strengthen business relations and investments. Hungary is one of Japan’s most important economic partners in Central Europe, while last year most investments came to Hungary from the East Asian region.
