Tokaji wineries were debuted in Russia
Eight Tokaji wineries were presented themselves in Moscow on Thursday. The audience of the event was mainly consisted of Moscow-based Russian wholesale chains, and the largest buyers, but many representatives of the political elite also appeared at the event.
Nyári László, president of the Pannon Tokaj Szőlőbirtok és Kereskedőház Kft. told MTI, that this is a kind of road-show, of which the next stage will be in St. Petersburg.
These events are essential to strenghten the reputation of Hungary and the Hungarian wines – added Nyári László. “We also need to build and to rebuild the market, which was always very important for the Tokaj- Hegyalja wine region, for Hungary and for the Hungarian-Russian economic relations” – he said.
