Wines from Tokaj and Eger won the Hungarian Wine Writers’ Award
The 2013 vintage Szent Tamás Furmint of the Szent Tamás Vineyards and Winery from Tokaj and the 2012 Bull’s Blood Grand Superior of the Thummerer Cellar from Eger won the first Hungarian Wine Grand Prix of Hungarian Wine Writers.
The Hungarian Wine Writers was formed in April 2016 and currently has 22 members. Into the first round of the competition, organized by the Hungarian Wine Writers those domestic white and red wines could be entered that in 2016 “that meet the highest consumer expectations with their outstanding quality and prove to be competitive even in international comparison”- the Hungarian Wine Writers informed MTI on Friday.
