Tokaj came out on top at the National Syngenta Wine Competition
The wineries of the Tokaj wine region were the best at the National Syngenta Wine Competition. Five out of the best twelve wines were from the Tokaj wine region, but the 2015 vintage wines did also well, particularly the rosés – turned out at this year's National Syngenta Wine Competition on Wednesday in Siófok.
Czigány Tibor, CEO of Syngenta called it gratifying that a total of 446 wines were competing in the competition from all wine regions of the country. More than half of the entries received were 2015 vintage. (MTI)
