Egg Producers: egg consumption should be increased in Hungary
According to the Hungarian Laying Hun Breeders and Egg Producers Association (Egg Association) egg consumption should be increased in Hungary, by restoring consumption of annually 260 pieces per person of the previous period: – said Végh László, president of the Egg Association told on Thursday in Budapest, at a professional background discussion.
At the event, held on the occasion of the World Egg Day, the president pointed out that in the recent times a significant decline occurred in the Hungarian egg consumption. Therefore the professional organization would like to put a bigger emphasis in order to encourage producers to use the crown mark eggs, and to promote the consumption of Hungarian eggs. (MTI)
