The Egg association does not expect price changes until Easter
Until Easter, egg prices will no longer change due to the coronavirus situation – the president of the Hungarian Egg Hybrid Breeders ‘and Egg Producers’ Association told Kossuth Radio on Thursday.
Szép Imre added that egg supply in Hungary is balanced and will remain balanced. At the same time, the market is experiencing a major restructuring, while retail demand has increased by 30-40 percent, the demand for plant kitchens, canteens and hotels has been minimized. There is no oversupply, and supply and demand are in balance on the market – he said. (MTI)
