WING has won multiple victories with TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel in the Klasszis TopDesign competition

TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel won two awards at the Klasszis TopDesign 2025 competition, which is one of the most prestigious professional competitions in the domestic HoReCa sector. At the gala held on November 25, the hotel developer WING was awarded the “Classic TopDesign Bar/Pub, Café, Pastry Shop of the Year” (TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel – Skybar) and “Classic TopDesign Restrooms of the Year”. The professional jury awarded the hotel for its outstanding architectural and interior design solutions, complex design philosophy and high-quality guest experience.

TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel was realized in cooperation between WING and Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport, right next to Terminal 2, connected to the existing ibis Styles hotel. The 167-room, four-star superior lifestyle design-focused hotel is the 21st TRIBE hotel in the world and the newest airport unit in the brand’s international portfolio. The hotel, which was opened in May, is the second TRIBE hotel in Budapest after TRIBE Budapest Stadium, also developed by WING, located in the Liberty mixed-use building.

The hotel’s unique spaces and outstanding services – the panoramic Skybar, the TRIBE Table restaurant, and the modern conference and fitness room – combine urban lifestyle and functionality, following the philosophy of the international TRIBE brand. The building and its interiors represent the unity of contemporary design and sustainability, as confirmed by the BREEAM rating and the Access4you certificate.

TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel was designed by Aspectus Architect, the interior design concept was created by este’r partners, and the operation is carried out jointly by WING and Accor. The hotel embodies the balance of modern urban lifestyle, functional design and environmentally conscious thinking – all that the Klasszis TopDesign award aims to recognize and showcase.
