Analysts expected more from the German retail
German retail sales in September became much less favorable than expected.
According to the preliminary data of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) released on Friday, the volume of retail sales in September increased by 3.4 percent in real terms, and by 3.2 percent in nominal terms on an annual basis,.
According to the seasonally and calendar adjusted data, the retail sales in real terms remained unchanged, while in nominal terms decreased by 0.1 percent in September, compared to the previous month. (MTI)
