The Hungarian Association of Hotels and Restaurants would spend more on marketing from the tourism tax
The Hungarian Association of Hotels and Restaurants (MSZÉSZ) suggests that from next year at least 25 percent of the tourism tax, collected by the local government should be used for tourism marketing goaals – the resolution of the association sent to MTI on Thursday shows.
According to the Hungarian Association of Hotels and Restaurants, it would be desirablethat the tourism tax would be imposed in Budapest uniformly in each district –in the 4 percent of the price of the room rent. The MSZÉSZ, in order to reduce the administrative burden on Service providers (hotels, motels) suggests that the local tax exemptions to be prooved in each district, in the same form for the foreign guests.
