NGOs in Debrecen collected several tonnes of durable foods and distributed to the needy families – the co-chairman of the Board of the Debrecen Charity Organisation said on Tuesday at a press conference.

Széles Diána deputy mayor recalled: Since its founding in October last year, the Charity Organisation took part in a number of charity collection action, with an even wider collaboration, with the Emergency Food Network of Debrecen. The volunteers of the organizations participating in this promotion gathered long-term foods in the city's big department stores, including flour, sugar, pasta – she added. (MTI)
