Small farmers destroy tens of thousands liters of milk

Small farmers are forced to destroy tens of thousands  liters of milk in Tolna countys since the beginning of the week. The processor does not take over the products due to the higher than allowed aflatoxin level – the Tolnai Népújság wrote.

According to the Tolna county newspaper, a daily seven thousand liters of milk should be disposed in Bogyiszló and its surroundings.

The milk with aflatoxin can not be given to calves, should not be poured into the fields, but must deliver to a bioplant near Paks. The transportation is expensive, moreover, the farmers do not have any income. (MTI)
