Several hundreds gave blood in the Tesco
The first Tesco Health day was held on Saturday at 14 sites all over the country. The blood donoring was jointly organized by Red Cross and Tesco more than 600 donator gave blood and thousands were using the free screening and health advice.
About seven thousand people had their blood sugar or cholesterol levels measured, during shopping. Besides different free screening tests and health advices, blood donoring was organized by the Red Cross. Other activities like Coca-Cola’s Body Awakening Gymnastic Program, Pfizer’s smoking cessation promotion tent or the advisory tent of TÉT Platform waited for those who interested. The program was held at the following locations: in Budaörs, at the Fogarasi Road in Budapest, in Debrecen, in Eger, in Hódmezõvásárhely, in Jászberény, in Kecskemét, in Miskolc, in Nyíregyháza, in Orosháza, at Pécs, in Salgótarján, in Székesfehérvár and in Tatabánya. The successful event will be held in August again.
