Hundreds of millions of hectares are waiting for agriculture in Africa
This year, Akinwumi Adesina, Chairman of the African Development Bank, received the World Food Prize.
The international recognition was founded in 1970 by the Nobel Peace Prize winner Norman E. Borlaug and the works of those people are rewarded who do alot to solve the problems of world nutrition – origo.hu wrote. This year’s winner believes that there is huge potential in Africa, but the people living there can not take advantage of the agricultural potential of the area without external help. (origo.hu)
