There could have been hundreds of billions of forints losses in the ornamental horticulture sector
Without government intervention, there could have been hundreds of billions HUF losses in the ornamental horticultural sector – Orlóci László, president of the Organization of Hungarian Ornamental Gardeners told M1 news channel on Friday.
The sector is capable of an annual performance of about 470 billion HUF, which would have decreased to 170 billion HUF without intervention, according to Orlóci László.
The president of the interprofessional organization mentioned that a crisis team had been set up, which worked with the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) and the Ministry of Agriculture to develop government action. (MTI)
