Companies spent more money on more television commercials than in last February
OTC drugs, food products, beauty care products and retailers’ commercials reached the most viewers in the 18-49 age group in February 2016 – reported Nielsen Audience Measurement Kft. It is noteworthy that grocery retail scored the fourth highest GRP at 6,461 points in the ranking of product categories. Hypermarkets were also in the top 20 with their 3,149 GRP index. Hungarians were watching television programmes in real time for 301 minutes a day in this period – women spent 321 minutes in front of the telly and men watched TV for 280 minutes a day. Television channels aired 625,582 commercials in 29 days, 18 percent more than in February 2015. February.
