Financial officers found more than fifty thousand packs of cigarettes in Röszke
More than fifty thousand packs of cigarettes were found by financial officers in Röszke while checking a Macedonian truck, the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) told MTI on Thursday.
Némedi-Varga Éva, a spokesman for NAV’s Csongrád County Tax and Customs Directorate, said that the Macedonian driver had transported drinks to Slovakia, according to documents. The financial officers sent the vehicle for an X-ray and found the smuggled goods. (MTI)
