The number of guest nights in Romania increased by 53.2 percent to 6.557 million in the first half of this year, compared to the same period last year, the Romanian statistical institute said on Monday.

Last year, the number of guest nights spent in commercial accommodation in Romania decreased by 51.6 percent year-on-year to 14.444 million compared to 2019. (Baranyi László, MTI)
