More than 5000 packs of smuggled cigarettes found in a garage in Szeged
Customs police found more than 5000 packs of untaxed cigarettes and 2,5 kgs of fine cut tobacco in Szeged in a garage and a vehicle parking in front of it – Hungarian Tax and Financial Control Administration (NAV) informed MTI on Wednesday.
NAV representatives were just arriving to the scene for an excise tax control when two Hungarian citizens were packing cigarettes from a garage to a car. The excisable products worth more than 4M HUF has been seized, customs authorities initiated proceedings in the matter of receiving stolen goods. (MTI)
