The MÁV-Volán group collected more than eight hundred kilograms of durable food, and the donation was handed over to the Ecumenical Aid Organization.
The Communications Directorate of MÁV Zrt. wrote on the railway company’s website on Tuesday: the donations collected in the national campaign were offered to those in need by the employees of the company group.
According to the information, donations could be dropped off at the transport company’s own collection points throughout the country. The food packages contain sugar, flour, oil, canned goods, rice, pasta, sweets, cocoa, coffee, tea, fruit juice and long-lasting milk.
In their announcement, they called their participation in social responsibility important.
