More than four billion HUF on the development of Balaton and its area
According to Suchman Tamás President of the Balaton Development Council, the attractiveness of the Balaton region tourism project will provide a 4.25 billion HUF support for the development of the region.
The goal of the tender, which was announced in the course of the regional operational program, was to evolve high quality tourism products and services with the increase of the number of the visitors of the attractions and the ability to increase revenues with the reduction in seasonality. Suchman Tamás emphasized that despite the crisis, the government does not deprive any money from the developments at Lake Balaton, thereby acknowledging the importance of the tourism region – reports Menedzsment Forum.
