Air passenger traffic in Ferihegy decreased by more than ninety percent
Passenger traffic at the Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport decreased by more than ninety percent in the first two weeks of September, compared to August, but there was little decline in freight traffic.
According to a statement by Budapest Airport, which operates the airport, sent to MTI on Thursday, nearly 400,000 passengers turned up at the terminals in August. For the whole of September, Budapest Airport expects a decline of over 90 percent, compared to the same period in 2019. (MTI)
