Sheep stew to be cooked at more than two hundred locations on the weekend in Karcag
This year, the sheep stew of Karcag, which is Hungaricum will be cooked in more cauldrons than ever before, in two hundred cauldrons, as the main attraction of the 16th Karcagi Sheep Cooking Festival on Saturday – Szepesi Tibor, main organizer told MTI on Tuesday. At the festival, environmental awareness will be promoted with high prority.
According to the informations of the main organizer, more than two hundred individual, pairs or trios of culinary team are expected to the event and nearly 300 sheeps will be cut down, because some cooking teanms will “sacrifice” two animals for the stew. The event will be accompanied with music acts including Tolvai Renáta, Muri Enikő and the Bikini. (MTI)
