More than one million tourists visited Transcarpathia this year
More than a million, mostly domestic tourists visited Transcarpathia this year, while the majority of foreigners were Czechs, Poles and Rumanians, according to the Department of Economic Development and Trade of Transcarpathia County on Tuesday.
According to the Office’s announcement, the biggest problem for tourists in Ukraine is the low quality of transport and the “terrible state” of the roads. Head of Department Denis Man indicated that the county’s forestry and wildlife farms have built stops along the roads where the tourists can rest. (Varga Béla, MTI)
