The Formatex Kft. expects a more than one billion HUF Christmas turnover
This year, the Formatex Kft. plans to reach a net sales of 1.06 billion HUF during this year’s Christmas season. Compared to 2013 it is an increase of 13 percent. It is expected that 8 percent of the sales will be carried out by the webshop – the toy merchant and importer company told MTI.
The Formatex's experience show that during the crisis the families spent less on toys and games during Christmas.
The notice cites Borhi János, the company's managing director, who said that the amount of pre-orders for Christmas predicts a positive change. The amount of pre-orders is 7 percent higher, compared to 2013. He added that during the crisis, the average basket value was halved, approximately 5-7 thousand HUF was intended to pay for a Christmas toy package. This year a recovery is expected: about 8-9 thousand HUF will be spent on games and toys. (MTI)
