Tesco’s annual performance has improved, with outstanding Central European performance
UK’s largest retail network, Tesco improved its annual performance with more than one-third in the 2018-2019 financial year. The Central European division of the company performed particularly well: the results of the Tesco network in the region increased by more than 50 percent.
According to a 74-page preliminary report published on the London Stock Exchange on Wednesday; the Group-level operating profit calculated without extraordinary items at current exchange rates increased by 34 percent to 2.206 billion pounds (823 billion HUF) from the 1,646 billion pounds of a year before.
