More than 8,000 kilograms of food was collected for the needy in the METRO stores

More than 8,000 kg of food was gathered in the scope of METRO’s  Christmas fundraising action. The donation was sent to the regional organizations of the National Association of Large Families.

METRO organized  a national collection campaign between 1-23 December 2012 in the METRO stores in Hungary. The donations could be handed over in 13 stores. During the three week collecting period, the costumers brought more than 8 tons of food to the needy.
