More than eight thousand confectionery packages for children in need
The Hungarian Food Bank Association fights to reduce food waste during the whole year. May is, however, a highlighting month for food collection, when children are given a particularly important role, as last Sunday in May is the Day of Children. However, not every child is so fortunate to have access to such small gifts as a table of chocolate or a little surprise. The Food Bank Association wants to make the Day of Children unforgettable for them!
The charitable organizations could apply for the packages in a tender form. The Foodbank has approved 39 successful applications, in which 8085 children can benefit from the joy of the Day of Children in the last weeks of May.
The distribution of the packages begins in mid-May and ends after the Day of Children, on the first weekend of June. There will be sports competitions, competitions, celebrations and day of traditions among the events.
